Are the tutors vetted?
Yes. We work hard to make sure all the teachers are the best choice for the students. We go through their relevant educational qualifications. We also look at their experience in private tuition and institutional teaching. We also make sure they have a DBS Enhanced, which is the most thorough criminal check in the UK. Any specific qualifications or skills you are looking for in a teacher, let us know and we will help you find what you are looking for. All tutors are ID checked for your safety and security.
What do I do if we don’t like the tutor?
Of course, you can change your tutor. If at any time you find that the tutor is not suitable for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact us so that other arrangements can be made. The opportunity to change the tutor is unlimited and at no additional cost.
Is there a limit on how many lessons I can have?
No, there is no limit. It all depends on what you think is best. Lessons usually take place once a week, for a minimum of 2 hours at a time. You can make bookings based on your schedule for however many hours you desire.
Are there really no extra fees?
Yes! We have no admin fees, late fees or hidden fees. The hourly rate you are charged is all-inclusive. Should there be any additional travel costs for the tutor, it will be discussed beforehand, and this will always be confirmed before any bookings take place.
Do you have homeschooling teachers?
Yep. Home-school teachers can be arranged. Please get in touch by calling, emailing or filling an enquiry form on the enquiries page specifying your needs and the subjects you require home-school teachers for. We work hard to match the right teacher to you.
Do bookings need to be pre-paid?
All bookings must be pre-paid. Fees need to be paid for continuously scheduled bookings at the beginning of the service. The fees are for all the bookings within 4 weeks. Pre-paid payment methods are put in place to ensure all your bookings are secure. In any case of a refund, this method will allow us to handle it efficiently.
Can I book a half an hour session?
Unfortunately, you cannot book a single half an hour lesson. The duration of a booked lesson is a minimum of 2 hours for face to face lessons and 1 a minimum of 1 hour online lessons. You can continue to add half an hour increments after the minimum booking has been met. For example if taking face to face lessons you can book 2.5 hour lessons, 3 hour lessons, 3.5 hour lessons and it can go up in half an hour increments at your desire.
Do you charge late fees?
We never charge any late fees. We only have a 3 strike system, if payments are late 3 times while the contract is standing, the service will be automatically terminated. Termination will not be implemented for extenuating circumstances.
What teaching methods do the tutors use?
All students learn in different ways. A good tutor will be able to adapt to their students needs. You should consider the following: What teaching methods will best suit me? How frequently will I need lessons? Where will the lessons take place? Feel free to discuss this with us prior to the first lesson along with any other specific requirements. We can support and advise you if you are unsure.
What are the minimum lessons I can book?
The minimum booking for face to face lessons is 2 hours and the minimum booking for online lessons is 1 hour.
Are there any cancellation fees?
If a session is cancelled within 48 hours, 50% of the cost of the lesson will be incurred. When a session is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice you will be charged the full cost of the session. Charges will not be implemented for extenuating circumstances, all at the Company’s discretion.
Do you provide teachers for organisations and other institutions?
Yes. We provide teachers for all kinds of educational organisations. We can help you find the right teacher for part-time positions, full-time positions, long-term, short-term, for any subject, all over London. We cater for all types of clients..
